There are so many things to love about this shoot, and even more to love about this couple! Shawna and Brad were so patient during our session due to crazy weather (more about that in the second paragraph)! And I loved our conversations on some of my favorite things- Disney and child development! Our session together begs the question- do we really have to wait a whole year till their wedding to shoot together again?!
The crazy weather story-
When I stepped on my front porch at 5:45am for our shoot, it was POURING. And no rain was expected on the forecast! We all arrived to Old town and we were able to take photos for about 20 minutes with a light sprinkle... until it poured like crazy, again! So we waited it out in our cars for almost an hour! And eventually the storm passed and we resumed out two hour session. I never experienced a surprise downpour delaying a shoot like this- usually the forecast will mention rain and we reschedule! So I'm grateful we didn't lose sunlight because it was a morning shoot, and that we were able to flex that 2 hour session! And I'm especially grateful for Shawna & Brad- their patience during the downpour and their understanding that I, alas, cannot control the weather!
